6201 'Princess Margaret Rose' entered service in 1935, named after the then five-year-old daughter of Albert, Duke of York (later King George VI), Princess Margaret Rose, the younger sister of Queen Elizabeth II. The locomotive was used to haul LMS passenger trains from London to the north and northwest of England and to Scotland.
After nationalisation in 1948, British Railways renumbered it 46203 before it was withdrawn from service in 1962. It was one of two Princesses to be preserved and was restored to mainline specification in 1990 before later being placed on static display in the West Shed at Swanwick Junction.

Unlike the majority of eBay sellers who impose a strict return deadline, we want you to be 100% delighted with your purchase and that’s why we offer a 30-day, hassle free return period.
So, if for any reason at all you are not delighted with your order, you can return it to us for a refund. Please note, if you've just changed your mind - that's OK, but we won't cover the return postage and we always recommend a tracked postage method.
If you think there's a problem with an item, please get in touch as soon as possible. Most of the faults reported, particularly with some of our product ranges, are solved with customer support rather than replacement. But if we can't solve it - we'll sort it.
